Summit 2020

The Performance Institute is proud to present the 2020 Government Performance Summit at the Westin Alexandria on March 23 - 24, 2020.

Hosted annually since 1999 by a coalition of good-government groups, the Government Performance Summit (GPS) is the annual performance management event for the federal, state & local government organizations. The Summit is led by speakers from upper echelons of the Executive and Legislative branches, subject matter experts in Federal, State and local space as well as industry leaders well versed implementing increased efficiencies, and improved processes with quantitative results acknowledged by their programs and agencies.  This Summit establishes a network of attendees and decision-makers who determine management policy from Federal, State, and Local Administrations as well as US Congress.

The focus of the Government Performance Summit 2020 Summit is

"Emerging Innovations and Data-Driven Strategies for Transforming Government"

This addresses the needs of professionals within all levels of government who use performance improvement in critical organizational processes such as budgeting, resource allocation, employee motivation, contracting, and improving services.

GPS goes beyond performance management concepts to delve into initiatives that help transform Key Initiative, Process Improvements and Service Delivery across government. Sessions will tackle data analytics to uncover ways to improve performance, Lean Six Sigma initiatives to streamline internal processes, various strategies to improve customer service, and positive examples required to enhance cross-agency collaboration for results.

Government Performance Summit 2020 (GPS20) will go beyond financial performance improvement to explore and experience an exceptional exchange of practical strategies and hands-on learning. The 2020 attendees will learn about:
