Keith Kerr is a Fellow with The Performance Institute. An expert on Program and Portfolio Management, he also supports PI’s efforts in performance management and process improvement. Keith is also VP of Operations and Delivery for OneSpring, Llc, an innovative technology development and implementation firm.
With over 25 years of experience, Keith has consulted with Federal Civilian and Defense, Commercial, and International organizations to achieve program success by tying strategic goals to program outcomes. He has experience with a variety of large, high risk, programs in; information technology; logistics/supply chain improvements; manufacturing, finance; and pharmaceutical settings. He possesses a broad understanding the factors that make complex, high visibility initiatives successful.
Prior to OneSpring, Keith was Managing Director for the Project, Program, and Portfolio practices for Robbins-Gioia where he led market research, product development, talent management, thought leadership, partner management, and business development strategies. He is also an active member the PM community and has taught custom and open enrollment courses on Program and Portfolio Management. He established the firm’s Center of Excellence for Program and Portfolio Management including the Agile interest group.
In 2013 he co-wrote and published “Program Management for Agile”, a research report on adoption and leading management practices in Agile development environment, describing the management practices necessary to take advantage of the Agile approach across the enterprise and on major programs.
Mr. Kerr holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Economics and Public Policy from George Washington University. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College 20 week Program Managers Course. He is DoD level III qualified in Program and Acquisition Management and he holds DoD, HHS, and DHS clearances.
